Semaglutide

Simeglutide is a GLP-1 analogue that acts as a GLP-1 receptor agonist, selectively binding and activating GLP-1 receptors to lower blood glucose levels by stimulating insulin secretion and reducing glucagon secretion, both of which are glucose dependent. When blood sugar rises, insulin secretion is stimulated while glucagon secretion is inhibited.
